It's still early days, but things seem to be going well for you…

"We are pretty happy with the preseason results, and I think we have reason to smile after two years in ‘hell'. We have high expectations for the 2007 project, with Alex Barros and Alex Hofmann already going well."

Can the team continue at the same level as they have been during preseason?

"We have to be cautious. The results up until now have been good, but we're just starting and know how hard everyone else is working to be more competitive. We have the most important thing, which is a solid group of people sharing one vision and with a desire for success. This season is more of a level playing field than in previous years, and for us the big change has been the switch to Bridgestone tyres."

How important is the factory team to your progress?

"They're a good reference, especially with a successful rider like Loris Capirossi. However, we're hoping to exceed them this year and will try and get a podium."

Do you see the Official Test in Qatar as a preview for the opening Grand Prix of the season?

"Each test is a different experience for us. We carry on developing the bike, and will continue with this in Qatar, but it certainly will be important to see how we do there."
