MotoGP World Champion Nicky Hayden had a less than positive conclusion to his time at the Official Test in Qatar, 14th on the timesheets at the conclusion of day three. The Kentucky Kid, who's progress was set back by a pair of crashes on Wednesday, spoke to motogp.com to explain what held him back at the Losail Circuit.

"Right now I'm struggling with the front, trying to get feeling there and get my confidence back with it. We've got a few ideas about how to fix it. Also, after two crashes on Wednesday I was riding pretty tight and a little bit stiff."

Hayden will be looking to pick up the pace at next week's MotoGP Official Test in Jerez, where he and the rest of the teams have their final chance to fine-tune their 800cc bikes ahead of their return to Qatar for the opening race of the season.
