LCR Honda rider Carlos Checa spoke with motogp.com last week at his new team´s official launch. The Spanish rider is the sole on-track member of Lucio Cecchinello's latest MotoGP project, and brings a great deal of experience to the team. With a few kilos cut from both himself and the bike, Checa gave his view on his adaptation to the new 800cc Honda RC212V.

"All bikes have their own character, it's just a question of adapting and finding the best combination. In the beginning the dimensions of the 800cc surprised me a bit, because you can tell that it is narrower. However, after moving the seat back and changing the height of the bars, I feel a lot more comfortable riding this bike," noted Checa in the interview.
