Jorge Lorenzo, Fortuna Aprilia (winner, 40'23.753)
With number one I'm feeling good but I had to push really hard from the first lap to the end. I'm really happy to finish first. We had some trouble at this track during the winter test, especially with the front end but we solved that this weekend. It's great to begin the year with a win, because the last one was back in Australia last year, as the last few races of the season didn't go to well for me.

Alex de Angelis, Master - MVA Aspar (2nd, 40'24.977)
Got a half decent start off the line, but got edged out on the first corner. The bike is not that easy to handle when full of fuel, but I found a good rhythm and worked my way forward, so I'm very pleased with a second placed finish.

Hector Barbera, Team Toth Aprilia (3rd, 40'26.664)
It's great to start with a podium position. We still need to fine tune the bike to get things just right. I really enjoyed myself on the bike today, and although third is my worst position of the weekend I´m happy to be on podium. Obviously I'm really looking forward to Jerez.
