Repsol Honda to hold presentation in Madrid this weekend

Next Sunday, March 18th, the streets of Madrid will be hosting the presentation of the Repsol Teams taking part in the 2007 Motorcycling World Championship.

Next Sunday, March 18th, the streets of Madrid will be hosting the presentation of the Repsol Teams taking part in the 2007 Motorcycling World Championship. The event is supported by the Madrid Town Council and the Madrid Más Moto Show, and all fans wishing to join the Repsol riders on their bikes will have to meet at 10.30 a.m. at the south entrance of Ifema. Half an hour later, at 11.00 a.m. the caravan will start on their way to the "Palacio de Deportes".

The route along the streets of Madrid will be the following: Ifema South Entrance Ifema-Avenida de los Andes-Avenida América-Calle María de Molina-Paseo de la Castellana-Plaza Cibeles-Calle Alcalá-Calle Jorge Juan-Calle Lombia-Plaza Dalí. The pace of the caravan will be set by the Local Police who will open the way.

From 11.30 a.m., at the Plaza Dali, beside the "Palacio de Deportes" the Repsol 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP teams will be introduced to the public. Bradley Smith, Esteve Rabat, Julián Simón, Shuhei Aoyama, Nicky Hayden and Dani Pedrosa will be on the stage to address the fans.

Located on the Plaza Dalí, the stage will recreate the pit garage of the Repsol Honda Team. Once the introduction of the riders has finished, fans will have the chance to enter the ‘Repsol garage' and take pictures of the official motorbikes ridden by Nicky Hayden and Dani Pedrosa at every Grand Prix.
