Before their traffic-stopping presentation on Sunday morning, Repsol Honda's World Championship representatives took in some more two-wheel action on Saturday night in Madrid. The MotoGP stars were guests of honour for the final round of the World Indoor Trial championship at the Palacio de Deportes, cheering on Repsol rider and 2007 World Champion Toni Bou.

Waiting in the wings as the riders caught some big air overhead, World Champion Nicky Hayden, Dani Pedrosa, Shuhei Aoyama, Julian Simon, Esteve Rabat and Bradley Smith were all visibly impressed by the athletic performances. All six were then invited onto the floor during the intermission, where they were presented to the crowd.

"It's a fantastic event, although a little crazy," commented Hayden. "Most kinds of motorsport I can imagine myself doing, but I've tried a little bit of Trials and it's pretty tough. Then again, all these bumps and jumps are kind of like Laguna! It's amazing how popular bikes are in Spain, they just love all kinds of two wheel sports."

Pedrosa also paid tribute to the show, saying that "I see these guys twice my size doing all these daring jumps and manoeuvring the bike around, and it's really something."
