Hiroshi Aoyama has confirmed to motogp.com that he will definitely be riding tomorrow in preparation for the Gran Premio bwin.com de España, despite still suffering the after-effects of his Qatar crash.

The Japanese rider was operated on under the guidance of Dr Xavier Mir in Barcelona immediately following the opening round less than two weeks ago, and this morning underwent further examination at the Jerez Medical Centre. Having been given the all-clear to compete, Red Bull KTM's 250cc star made the decision to make his return to action tomorrow morning.

"I'm still not in 100% condition, but I will decide after the first session if I can ride for the whole weekend. I really want to race at Jerez," commented Aoyama.
