Shinya Nakano, Sylvain Guintoli and Hector Faubel, the leader of the 125cc World Championship, paid a visit to the world-renowned Tio Pepe wine cellars this afternoon.

Shinya Nakano, Sylvain Guintoli and Hector Faubel, the leader of the 125cc World Championship, paid a visit to the world-renowned Tio Pepe wine cellars this afternoon, in a pre-event gathering ahead of the second round of the season in southern Spain.

The three riders took some time out before the Gran Premio bwin.com de España to taste a glass of fine sherry, one of Andalusia's signature wines, and even attempted to serve the drinks themselves using a specialist pouring instrument - a skill which requires a highly sensitive touch, much like controlling the throttle of race bike.

Each of the three Grand Prix competitors met with the amassed media pack who joined them at the famous cellars after a picturesque train journey around the immense Tio Pepe premises, on which Nakano, Guintoli and Faubel learned about the production of perhaps the region's most famous export.

At the end of the visit the trio were delighted to meet two of motorcycle racing's most admired former World Champions, Angel Nieto and Giacomo Agostini, who were also enjoying a tour of the cellars ahead of the Jerez Grand Prix weekend.
