The youngsters, chosen in trials towards the end of last year by the likes of Harold Bartol and Alberto Puig, tried out their KTM kit bikes in two sessions following the 250cc qualifying practice. Johann Zarco was the fastest of the rookies, ahead of Luis Salom, Cameron Beaubier and Cyril Carrillo. They will further have the chance to hone their skills tomorrow, ahead of what is sure to be an exciting race for the first-timers on Sunday afternoon.
