After successfully completing the first two rounds of the 250cc World Championship, Thai Honda PTT SAG Ratthapark Wilairot is enjoying a well-deserved break back in his native Thailand. During his stay in capital city Bangkok, the young rider will attend the 28th edition of the Bangkok International Motorshow.

During the show, a replica of the Thai rider's 250cc Honda is on display alongside Nicky Hayden's title-winning RC211V in the A.P. Honda stand. Another replica of the bike can also be seen at the PTT stand, as the Thai oil company is one of the title sponsors of Wilairot's team.

Before attending various events at the Motorshow, the first ever Thai participant in MotoGP caught up with family and friends when he arrived on Wednesday. "It was great to see my parents and family and all my friends, they had organized a nice welcome party. I've been living in Spain since January and now I finally have a couple of days off that I can spend with my family before getting back to racing. Even though all went smoothly when I moved to Sant Fruitós and the team helped me a lot, I missed my family and was looking forward to seeing them," said the 250cc rookie.

Meeting the fans at the Motorshow was another good reason to head back home: "I was told that I had a big following since my Grand Prix debut, here in my native country. Now I just want to share my experience with the Thai fans. I will also enjoy a few days rest before going back to Europe and getting back to my usual routine to prepare for the next Grand Prix."
