250cc rider Roberto Locatelli's condition continues to improve following his accident at last month's race at Jerez. The Italian was able to return home on Saturday to spend Easter with his family, accompanied by Clinica Mobile physiotherapists Francesco Chionne and Francesco Redaelli.

The former 125cc World Champion has received countless messages of support since suffering serious injuries in a crash during practice for the Gran Premio bwin.com de España. A number of riders have expressed their best wishes for ‘Loca', including Nicky Hayden, Valentino Rossi, Marco Melandri and Max Biaggi. The Italian's most recent operation has been on his facial injuries, and the procedure went well enough for Locatelli to be allowed out of the Bellaria hospital in Bologna for some time at home.

Doctor Zanello and Doctor Cocchi will perform a double checkup on Locatelli when he returns to the hospital on April 16th, after which he will meet with Doctor Costa about the rehabilitation of his left ankle, operated on soon after the crash.
