With two young talents itching to make their mark on the 125cc World Championship, combined with their new collaboration with Derbi, Ajo Motorsport appear to have an exciting season ahead of them.

Aki Ajo, Team Manager of the lower cylinder category outfit, is optimistic about the prospects of riders Michael Ranseder and Robert Muresan, the latter in his rookie year.

"This season we have a lot of work with new riders and a new bike, but I think the season has started pretty well," commented Ajo. "The bikes seem to be very competitive and fast, despite our need to get to know them better. We seem to have a fair idea about what fine tuning is needed."

"Our riders are very motivated, and this shows in their early results. Michael Ranseder knows the circuits and is riding very intelligently, at the same pace as the frontrunners. Robert Muresan is in his first season, but he has talent and we think he can be fast. At Jerez he had a very interesting race," concluded the Team Manager.

As part of an initiative involving Ajo Motorsport, a Finnish television channel and MotoGP rights holders Dorna Sports, the team will be on the lookout for new talents seeking a future in the World Championship. This week three such youngsters are undertaking tests at the Albacete circuit under the watchful eyes of the Red Bull MotoGP Academy chiefs.
