Yamaha teams announce new sponsor

MotoGP teams Fiat Yamaha and Dunlop Yamaha Tech3 have announced that they have both agreed a new sponsorship deal with Agricola Italiana Alimentare (AIA), a leading Italian food production company.

MotoGP teams Fiat Yamaha and Dunlop Yamaha Tech3 have announced that they have both agreed a new sponsorship deal with Agricola Italiana Alimentare (AIA), a leading Italian food production company.

As of the first day of action at the Grand Prix of Turkey in Istanbul, the teams now carry the logo of "Wudy", one of AIA's leading brands, on all their equipment, including the bikes of Valentino Rossi, Colin Edwards, Makoto Tamada and Sylvain Guintoli.

Fiat Yamaha Team Director Davide Brivio commented: "We are pleased to be able to announce the arrival of another all new sponsor into our Team and into the world of MotoGP. We hope that AIA will enjoy their involvement in our sport and we are looking forward to working with such an important Italian brand."

Dunlop Yamaha Tech3 Team Herve Poncharal added: "This is definitely a step forward in our racing organization and all together a new company involved in the MotoGP Championship. We wish them all the success they deserve and hope to match their expectations."
