The track is 5.34km in length, 14m - 21.5m wide and is lapped by the riders counter clockwise, featuring breath-taking changes in elevation as well as some extremely fast and challenging corners.

It has a capacity of 130,000 for spectators, while the press room has 600 workstations for journalists and 100 for photographers, making it one of the biggest in the World Championship.
