MotoGP front three reflect on their success in Turkey

The three men stepping onto the podium reflect on another great MotoGP race at the Grand Prix of Turkey:

Casey Stoner, Ducati Marlboro, (winner) 42'02.850
"It was a little strange because I was really focussed on getting through the first couple of laps and not getting shuffled back like in Jerez in the last race. Fortunately I managed to get past Colin quite early and then Valentino ran wide coming onto the back straight and pretty much gifted me first the first position. From there I just got my head down for a couple of laps, managed to get a bit of a break and kept building. With the Ducati and the Bridgestones working so well I couldn't do anything wrong really today."

Toni Elias, Honda Gresini, (2nd) 42'09.057
"I'm really happy with this second place, because this weekend has been really good. Yesterday I made a big mistake, so I started from tenth and it was really difficult but I got a great start and after this I tried to pass Hopkins many times. I passed him but he got passed me again and I lost some time, but then I tried to go with Valentino, I was faster than him and I decided to pass him. I took the second position and I tried to catch Casey, but today he was really strong. I decided to maintain this second position, which is good for the championship. This position is very good for me.

Loris Capirossi, Ducati Marlboro, (3rd) 42'10.952
"It's a perfect weekend. I feel like the father of these two guys because I'm really old. I started really well today and I tried to catch Casey, but he's really fast so I didn't want to risk too much. And then everybody was coming and I was in sixth place fighting with everybody. Then on the last lap, especially on the fast corner I lost the front and Alex overtook me, and I said ok the third position is here, I have to try again. I broke so late on the last corner and I finished third. It's a perfect weekend for Ducati really, with us finishing first and third, so we'll see what happens in the next part of the season."
