The CEV Buckler gets underway this weekend at the Albacete circuit, with the first of seven races taking place in the Spanish championship's tenth anniversary year. Aside from the local talent involved in the series this year, MotoGP also features a strong international lineup of entrants in the 125GP category.

BQR riders Stefan Bradl and Scott Redding will be appearing in the lower cylinder category, alongside three Finnish riders newly incorporated into the ranks of Ajo Motorsport. The Red Bull MotoGP Academy, in its third year, is represented by Jonas Folger, Takaaki Nakagami and Isaac Viñales for the 2007 season.

One of the new additions to the CEV Buckler this year is a collaboration between MotoGP rights holders Dorna Sports and Kawasaki, the Kawasaki Ninja Cup. After five races running alongside the CEV, the winner will receive a place in the Kawasaki d'Antin team for the final two Formula Extreme races.

Fans wanting to experience the action live can visit the www.motocev.com website for more information, with the races also available to watch on Spanish television channel TVE on Sunday afternoon.
