Kiefer-Bos-Sotin Racing unveil youth development plans

The 250cc Kiefer-Bos-Sotin Racing team has unveiled its new Junior Racing Team project, which aims to assist in the development of German riding talent.

The 250cc Kiefer-Bos-Sotin Racing team has unveiled its new Junior Racing Team project, which aims to assist in the development of German riding talent.

The only German team competing in the MotoGP World Championship has reached an agreement to recruit the current 125cc German champion, Robin Lässer, with the objective of promoting him to Grand Prix racing next season.

The purpose of the Junior Racing Team is to provide opportunities to young riders from Germany in MotoGP and the project has come about in response to the lack of significant German representation in Grand Prix racing since the late 1980s.

Team boss Stefan Kiefer commented: "This opportunity gives us an enormous amount of satisfaction. We believe in the development of this project and we are convinced that we will be able to use the experience that we have accumulated in the 250cc class over the last four years to help our young riders to quickly enhance their reputations."

The Kiefer-Bos-Sotin Junior Team development program will not only offer opportunities to young German riders, but also to the international companies sponsoring the project - who stand to benefit from extensive mass media coverage which MotoGP enjoys.
