Michael Bartholemy from Kawasaki Racing gives his expert eye view of today's action, which saw both his riders place in the top seven despite soreness from injuries. Olivier Jacque was particularly impressive as he put himself at the head of tomorrow's second row, and the Frenchman will be keen to repeat his last wet weather race performance of second place in the 2005 Chinese Grand Prix.

"At the moment it seems like we are ‘only happy when it rains'," commented Bartholemy to motogp.com. "Olivier had a good day, and Randy was also very fast towards the end despite being a little tender from his crash two weeks ago."

With Kawasaki not having come out on top in either of the previous flag-to-flag races, the team are keen to see a race without mixing the weather conditions. "We certainly would hope for either completely wet or completely dry conditions, because in Australia last year and in France two weeks ago we lost positions when we changed the bikes," concluded Bartholemy.
