MotoGP action in the US begins a new era this weekend, with free-to-air channel CBS Sports debuting their World Championship coverage.

MotoGP action in the US begins a new era this weekend, with free-to-air channel CBS Sports debuting their World Championship coverage.

A one hour long package will be broadcast this Sunday, with coverage of the Gran Premi Cinzano de Catalunya MotoGP race from 1.30-2.30pm ET. Fans will be treated to all the action from the crucial race with OnBoard footage and plenty of news, features and interviews. The program itself will be produced by Dorna using CBS Sports talent, as well as expert analysis being brought by Americas former World Champion and MotoGP Legend Kevin Schwantz.

With World Champion Nicky Hayden, Fiat Yamaha rider Colin Edwards and Rizla Suzuki star John Hopkins flying the flag for the US, fans have plenty of home heroes to root for, in addition to the rest of the MotoGP field from Europe and beyond.
