The three riders on the front row for Sunday's MotoGP race give their thoughts on today's qualifying practice for the Gran Premi Cinzano de Catalunya:
Valentino Rossi Fiat Yamaha
(pole position, 1'41.840s)
"I'm not able to decide which is the best between Barcelona and Mugello for me and to have two Grands Prix like this in the same week is very exciting. So I'm happy, the pole position is always a great pleasure. This year Yamaha and Michelin are working very well in qualifying, I am able to do a lot of good laps and I'm enjoying riding the bike."
Randy de Puniet Kawasaki Racing
"I had a bad crash at Mugello and my knee is very big, there's a lot of blood inside. We tried to do something about it for this weekend but it's difficult so I have to thank Clinica Mobile for their work this weekend. I'm happy because it's my first front row in MotoGP, I like this track and the bike works well."
Dani Pedrosa Repsol Honda
"I'm happy because it's already a long time since I was on the front row, so this is a good result. Anyway tomorrow I think the race will be very difficult but I'm happy to be at my home Grand Prix, with so many people, so I hope to do well."
