The podium finishers at the Gran Premi Cinzano de Catalunya look back on a superb MotoGP contest:

Casey Stoner Ducati Marlboro (winner, 43'16.907)
"The first part of the race was kind of quiet, I was just trying to set a pace without pushing too much and as the race got on of course the level came up. Dani and Valentino caught up to me and started applying the pressure. But since Mugello we've had a couple of problems with the bike in a couple of corners, but we've really improved it this weekend so it's definitely competitive on these European circuits."

Valentino Rossi Fiat Yamaha (2nd, 43'16.976)
"Yes I think the battle was great some incredible overtaking between us, in a lot of different points. I enjoyed the battle a lot. Unfortunately at the beginning I had to fight with John (Hopkins) so I lost a bit of time. So I needed a good pace to come back on Dani and Casey. When I arrived I tried to attack to go in front, but there are some parts where we lose so much. But it's a good experience, to know what we need to go faster."

Dani Pedrosa Repsol Honda (3rd, 43'17.297)
"It was difficult, it was a fast race, fast paced and I was quite confident there, but there was one part where I was losing a lot so I couldn't get close enough to get past them. They were fighting and I was just looking, but for the next time I hope to improve this and get into the fight."
