Finally pulling ahead of Mick Doohan in the all-time podium chart, the five-time MotoGP World Champion took his 96th rostrum finish in the premier class. The momentous achievement is the most top three results for any rider in history, and comes courtesy of 60 wins, 25 second places and 11 third positions. Sure to grow as his illustrious career continues, Rossi could be expected to reach the 100 mark in the near future.

Next weekend Rossi could also oust Doohan from his title as the rider with the most World Championship points ever. If ‘The Doctor' can finish in the top 7, he will overtake ‘The Thunder from Down Under's figure of 2298 points.
