As proud ambassador for the Make a Wish Foundation, World Champion Nicky Hayden was pleased to welcome three special guests to Donington Park over the Nickel & Dime British Grand Prix weekend.

The American Repsol Honda rider played host as three youngsters, who have all been suffering serious illness, visited the paddock to have their dreams fulfilled to meet the reigning MotoGP title holder and enjoy a fun day out at the Leicestershire circuit.

The Make a Wish Foundation mission statement is to grant wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses and this month the UK arm of the charity is celebrating 21 years of wishgranting.

At Donington the charity arranged for the children to have lunch in the Repsol Honda Hospitality area, watch the MotoGP qualifying session from the track, meet World Champion Hayden and take a lap of the circuit in the official Safety Car.
