Assen MotoGP front row trio give their views

The three men on the front row of the grid give their post-qualifying views ahead of Saturday's MotoGP A-Style TT Assen race.

The three men on the front row of the grid give their post-qualifying views ahead of Saturday's MotoGP A-Style TT Assen race:

Chris Vermeulen Rizla Suzuki (pole, 1'48.555s)
"Last year I had two pole positions and I haven't been on the front row yet this year so I'm very happy to be here. Those conditions were difficult, there was more rain, then less rain, but that wasn't the real problem, the wind was affecting me a lot."

Casey Stoner Ducati Marlboro (2nd, 1'48.572s)
"We're looking very strong for the race if it happens to be dry. If it happens to be wet the soft tyres seem to be working quite well for us and it looks like they are going to last the distance ok, they did fine in Donington. I tried a harder one but it didn't quite work for my bike, so we'll have to see what the weather holds for us tomorrow."

Randy de Puniet Kawasaki Racing (3rd, 1'49.579s)
"I'm very happy because I stopped my first run pretty late. When I re-started the track was completely wet, in the pit we changed the tyres and waited for better conditions. On my last lap the condition was not so bad and I decided to push at the maximum because first row here is very important."
