The 250cc podium trio give their thoughts on the quarter litre class race at the A-Style TT Assen:
Jorge Lorenzo Fortuna Aprilia
"I thought it would be easier than it was because Alex (de Angelis) was riding faster than I hoped for, but anyway we've won. It's the sixth victory of the season and we recuperated the points that we lost in Donington, so we have to be happy with this result."
Alex de Angelis Master – Mapfre Aspar
"I'm really happy because before the race I wasn't so convinced about how fast I would be in the race. We had a lot of problems in the training sessions, but we found where to look for solutions. Also there was the fact we trained in the wet and had no clue about the bike on the dry track. But once again I set the lap record, we had another great race and we wait for a win. Even if I'm not winning, it's quite clear I'm already a main player in the Championship."
Alvaro Bautista Master – Mapfre Aspar
"It was impossible to catch De Angelis and Lorenzo and third position is good but before the race I hoped to fight for the victory. But it wasn't possible and I think third position is good in my first year in 250cc."
