Sachsenring MotoGP front row qualifiers comment on success

The trio of riders on the front row of the grid for tomorrow's tenth race of the season, Casey Stoner (Ducati Marlboro), Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) and Marco Melandri (Honda Gresini), give their views on their qualifying success at the Alice Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland.

The trio of riders on the front row of the grid for tomorrow's tenth race of the season, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Marco Melandri, give their views on their respective qualifying successes at the Alice Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland:

Casey Stoner Ducati Marlboro (pole, 1'22.384s)
"A little bit of an advantage at the start of the race which I suppose always helps, and I'm pretty happy wherever I qualify on the front two rows. It's a nice start for us tomorrow, but I don't believe in all this jinx stuff from pole position."

Dani Pedrosa Repsol Honda (2nd, 1'22.388s)
"I think tomorrow will be a very long race and I think that at the end it will be difficult to keep the pace because it's so long. So we'll have to see how the tyres end up."

Marco Melandri Honda Gresini (3rd, 1'22.397s)
"It will be a difficult race, the rhythm will not be easy because the race is pretty long, and for the tyres it's pretty tough and also for the body. But anyway I'll do my best and I hope to be able to fight for a podium."
