Simoncelli and Barbera continue free practice feud

Heading into the summer break for the 250cc teams, it is safe to assume that riders Hector Barbera and Marco Simoncelli will not be booking a holiday together. The two have had a constant niggling battle over the past few races, with hot Latin tempers flaring when the two clash with alarming regularity.

The duo came together again this morning in the second free practice session, when they had a near-miss on the final corner at Sachsenring. Heading down pit lane immediately after, a message was sent from the Metis Gilera rider in the form of a kick to his Aprilia, followed by a series of gestures bandied back and forth as they headed to their respective garages.

Another foot was thrown yesterday in MotoGP during the second free practice session, with Dani Pedrosa lashing out at Loris Capirossi when he adjudged the Ducati rider to have obstructed his line.
