Bancaja Aspar's Gabor Talmacsi this morning took his second victory of the season to regain the 125cc World Championship lead at Sachsenring, making the most of his third pole position start of the year.

The 26 year-old from Budapest earned the fifth win of his career at the Alice Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland, crossing the line 3.532s ahead of Red Bull KTM's Tomoyoshi Koyama who rode brilliantly from 15th on the grid to take second.

In the last race before the summer break, Talmacsi's triumph took him above Aspar team-mate Hector Faubel in the general classification by two points as the Spaniard finished third – the position in which he started on the grid.

Italian Simone Corsi (Skilled Racing Team), Swiss youngster Randy Krummenacher (Red Bull KTM 125) and former championship leader Lukas Pesek (Valsir Seedorf Derbi) were fourth, fifth and sixth respectively, Sandro Cortese (Emmi Caffe Latte) crossed the line seventh and British youngster Bradley Smith (Repsol Honda) rode through the pain barrier after his Assen injuries to take eighth.

There were accidents for Sergio Gadea (Bancaja Aspar) who crashed on the final corner while fighting for fifth place and Mattia Pasini (Polaris World), who went down on the first corner of the race when touched by another rider as his bad luck returned.
