The latest round of the Bennetts British Superbike championship took place on Sunday, and once again Ryuichi Kiyonari was in the thick of the action as he finished the day with two trophies for his cabinet.

A touch of déjà vu was in order as the podium lineup of Kiyonari, Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes was repeated in race two, with the afternoon outing seeing the Japanese rider extend a near three second lead from team-mate Rea. Kiyonari had perhaps an even more notable ride in the morning race, as a series of hard passes saw him work his way through the field at a flying pace.

HM Plant Honda remain the stand-out team of the championship, with Kiyonari 26 points ahead of Rea heading to the next round at Cadwell Park on August 27th.
