Third fastest yesterday morning and fifth on the provisional grid after yesterdays rain curtailed first qualifying session, Barbera topped the timesheet in todays practice by 0.260s ahead of Master Mapfre Aspars Alex De Angelis.

Barberas hot lap of 202.721s was set on the 22nd of his 23 laps of the historic Czech track and is just under half a second off fellow Spaniard Jorge Lorenzos circuit best lap - recorded in 2005.

World Champion Lorenzo (Fortuna Aprilia) was fourth quickest this morning, just behind 125cc World Champion Alvaro Bautista (Master Mapfre Aspar) and just in front of Hiroshi Aoyama (Red Bull KTM) on the timesheet.

Andrea Dovizioso of Kopron Team Scot, Mika Kallio (Red Bull KTM), Thomas Luthi (Emmi - Caffe Latte Aprilia), wild card and provisional pole man Alex Debon (Aprilia) and Julian Simon (Repsol Honda) completed the top ten.
