The Cardion ab Grand Prix Ceske republiky may have been a home race for the likes of Lukas Pesek and Karel Abraham, but there was also a huge amount of support for riders from nearby Hungary at the Brno circuit this afternoon.

Gabor Talmacsi and Imre Toth, as well as the Team Toth Aprilia outfit itself, were all riding something akin to a local round of the World Championship this weekend, cheered on by thousands of fans who made a notable impact on the Czech Republic. Although neither were able to give their supporters a podium finish, Talmacsi had the crowd on their feet during the latter stages of the race when he battled for the win in a thrilling encounter. The Aspar rider has the chance to further please Hungarian fans by giving them their first 125cc World Championship this season.
