Taro Sekiguchi, involved in a nasty crash in the 250cc warm-up this morning, is thankfully breathing and fully conscious and en route to Brno Hospital.

The Japanese rider collided with Marco Simoncelli's Aprilia –lying prone on the track after the Italian lowsided- due to his visibility being impaired by the dust in the air, and was propelled over his bike in an incident that saw the session immediately red flagged.

Sekiguchi suffered a thorax contusion, with a possible lung injury also due to be examined immediately. The MotoGP session has been delayed due to the presence of a large amount of fuel on the track.
