An extended stay for selected MotoGP and 250cc riders comes to an end today, with the arrival of the final day of post race testing.

Casey Stoner has once again been the premier class standout at Brno, unrelenting in his quest for improvement after a dominant weekend. The Ducati Marlboro rider yesterday was without any new tyres from Bridgestone, but still rode round in consistent 158 laps throughout the day before topping the timesheets on a qualifier.

Repsol Honda followed up their success in the race with a positive first day of testing and, in a change from their established procedure, will have both riders on track today for a second session. Whilst World Champion Nicky Hayden is known for putting in the miles and using every last minute of track time, team-mate Dani Pedrosa usually participates only in the post-race Monday tests. However, the Spaniard will be staying on today for work with Michelin as the manufacturer look to close the gap in the tyre war with Bridgestone.

A full lineup from Kawasaki, both Yamaha teams and lone LCR Honda rider Carlos Checa all stay on today at Brno, with Pramac dAntin running only Alex Barros after fielding Ivan Silva yesterday. Suzuki will undertake work with John Hopkins and Chris Vermeulen, although test rider Nobuatsu Aoki will not participate in testing the new engine spec, whilst Konica Minolta Hondas Shinya Nakano will also head straight to Misano instead of riding again today.

The test is already underway, and scheduled to finish at 5pm local time, weather permitting.
