Despite far less favourable testing conditions at Brno yesterday than on Monday, both Nicky Hayden and Dani Pedrosa were happy with their final day of work in the Czech Republic. The duo both stayed on for the duration of the two day test, with the reigning World Champion focusing on fork adjustment, rear shock absorbers and tyres and his Spanish partner concentrating solely on work with Michelin.

"This was a positive test and a decent weekend for us in general. We have been in the leading positions most of the time, and taking into consideration where we have been many times this season, this is a definite improvement," noted Hayden yesterday afternoon.

"Today we tested some set ups on the fork and the rear shock absorber, several changes were made to the engine and I did some tyres tests with the Michelins. We have not made any special progress but it was worth coming here. I want to thank the team because they have been working very hard for five days without a break."

"Today basically we have been testing quite a lot for Michelin: variations with the construction and compounds to try and improve our performance and resistance, especially towards the end of the race. The circuit was wet in the morning and there was also quite a bit of wind, so we lost some test time today," added Pedrosa.

"The forecast was for rain, but we were able to enjoy some dry weather in the afternoon, so we were lucky. It was useful to test these tyres. We did not find a lot of improvement but the information that we got today should be of use to Michelin and help them with their tyre development for the race in Misano. I am dying to go there because I have never raced at that circuit"
