Frenchman Randy de Puniet took some time out to speak to motogp.com before the action got underway at the Gran Premio Cinzano di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini to discuss his move from Kawasaki Racing to Honda LCR for the 2008 season.

The tough 26 year old has impressed the paddock this year with some gritty performances despite injury problems and will ride for the LCR team for two seasons, once again working with Team Manager Lucio Cecchinello who oversaw his 250cc development in 2003 and 2004 onboard factory Aprilia machinery.

Commenting on the move, De Puniet stated: Its good for me to continue next season with a good team and on a good bike. I know Lucio because I worked with him for two years. I won a few races and I had a good championship in 250. So Im happy.
