Misano front row riders talk about qualifying

Quotes from the front row riders for tomorrow's race at Misano.

Quotes from the front row riders for tomorrow's race at Misano.

Casey Stoner

"We haven't turned all the poles into wins this season, so I'm not sure how things will go tomorrow. Nobody's really got the settings exactly as they want with the little track time that we've had. Everything seems to be looking good for tomorrow, but I'm not really sure because I'm not totally aware of everyone else's situation."

Valentino Rossi

"It is a very important front row for me, and the atmosphere has been just unbelievable. With so many fans here, I am going to have to give my all for them.

"I like the track; it's not too tight, has some good parts and some bumps which aren't really a disaster. I enjoy riding the bike here, and I am happy to return to the front after not having been able to start from there for the past two races.

"Michelin's qualifiers were working very well, but in the end Casey was faster than me. In any case, it was important to get a front position."

Nicky Hayden

"Definitely tomorrow will be a bit of a step into the unknown, and there are still a few tyres that we haven't tried yet. In practice I'd been going ok, but when it came to the 1'35s and 1'34s then we didn't really get there, so I knew that we had to take chances. There was a lot of chatter but the tyres were really good.

"I squeezed onto the front row, which is really important here. Parts of the track I'm not so good on, but others I think are going well. I'm sure that it will be a show, and I need to be part of that."
