With a race in which Bridgestone could see their first ever MotoGP World Champion just hours away, Hiroshi Yamada from the home manufacturer has seen the weather turn in his outfits favour.

With a race in which Bridgestone could see their first ever MotoGP World Champion just hours away, Hiroshi Yamada from the home manufacturer has seen the weather turn in his outfits favour.

An all-Michelin front row consisting of Dani Pedrosa, Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden lie ahead of the Bridgestone brigade, amongst them World Championship leader Casey Stoner in ninth position. However, an early soaking has changed the state of the track, and this could play into Bridgestones hands.

It is true that yesterday was not great, which is what we were expecting. We havent been so strong so far this weekend, for example Casey is ninth, but with the change in conditions we could do well and he was one of the fastest in the warm up, explained Yamada to motogp.com.
