Fiat Yamaha to run new livery this weekend

Fiat Yamaha riders Valentino Rossi and Colin Edwards will be running their second special livery of the 2007 season at the GMC Australian Grand Prix, following on from their 70's themed effort at Assen earlier this season.

Fiat Yamaha riders Valentino Rossi and Colin Edwards will be running their second special livery of the 2007 season at the GMC Australian Grand Prix, following on from their 70's themed effort at Assen earlier this season.

The paint scheme for the race at Phillip Island will be inspired by the Abarth brand, a division of Fiat Automobiles SpA. Abarth has been re-launched by Fiat this year with several new models, and their logo of the Scorpion and white and red flag will be displayed prominently on the special Yamaha M1 paint scheme.

There will be no further livery changes for the factory Yamaha team this season, with Rossi and Edwards reverting to their normal colours at Malaysia and Valencia.
