British rider Danny Webb will be riding the last race of his rookie season this weekend, at a track which is almost a home circuit for the 16 year-old. Webb competed at Valencia in the CEV Spanish Championship before his arrival on the world stage, mirroring the career path of countryman Bradley Smith, and has always been a strong performer at the Ricardo Tormo circuit. Although the two championships have a very different level of talent and experience, the fact that Webb will not have to learn the circuit should help him to continue one of his better runs of form.

I can´t wait for Valencia because I am on form now and I am good at Valencia. I can´t wait and I want to be fighting for a position in the points on the day, the De Graaf Grand Prix rider told motogp.com. Webb took his first three World Championship points at Japan earlier this year on his first visit to Motegi, and since then has been going diligently about his work with a new-found motivation.

The young talent expects to have a second chance to hone his skills in 2008, and is looking forward to bigger and better things from his sophomore year.

I am sure that it will be good next year, because I know all the tracks now and it´s coming good at the end of this season, concluded Webb.
