Cameron Beaubier put on a late surge to take pole position for the final Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup race of the year. The American rider gunning for a top three position for the season- clocked a time of 143.580 to steal the top spot from Johann Zarco, the French rider already crowned the series champion.

The front row for tomorrows final showdown also includes Cyril Carrillo, who competed in Malaysia as a substitute rider in the 125cc World Championship, and Robert Gull.

The second line of attack consists of Deane Brown, Lorenzo Savadori, Luis Salom and Matthew Hoyle. The rookies will be on track tomorrow at 4.15pm local time.
