Weather hampers second day of Jerez 250cc & 125cc tests

Adverse weather conditions so far today at Jerez have limited the activity on the second day of 250cc and 125cc testing at the southern Spanish circuit.

Adverse weather conditions so far today at Jerez have limited the activity on the second day of 250cc and 125cc testing at the southern Spanish circuit.

A selection of 23 quarter litre class and single cylinder category riders are in Andalucia for three days of preparation for the 2008 season, but wind and rain on Tuesday morning have meant that most of those present have remained in the shelter of their pit-boxes - as they wait patiently and hopefully for the weather to improve.

Only the daring trio of Karel Abraham, Thomas Lüthi and Lorenzo Zanetti have ventured out onto the track for a handful of laps thus far.

Unfortunately, forecasts are not encouraging for the remainder of today nor for Wednesday - the last scheduled day of testing at Jerez for the 250cc and 125cc riders - with the windy and wet conditions expected to persist.
