OnBoard makes test debut with pacesetter Pedrosa

Dani Pedrosa was the fastest rider of those present at the Jerez circuit yesterday, for the second of three days of testing at the Spanish circuit. Alongside the customary footage of the Repsol Honda rider on-track, motogp.com has for the first time incorporated the OnBoard technology used at every round of the World Championship into the winter inventory, and can now offer shots from Pedrosas Honda RC212V for your perusal.

Whilst nearly all MotoGP bikes use the digital OnBoard camera over the course of the season, until now none had carried the system during testing sessions. This winter Pedrosa will be the only rider to provide OnBoard footage, which is also making its debut on a 2008 prototype.

In the following video you can experience Pedrosas string of hot laps at Jerez from the perspective of the 22 year-old, in the final test of 2007.
