One of the most colourful exhibits currently on display at the Bologna Motor Show is a special edition Fiat 500 car which sits alongside one of Valentino Rossi's 800cc Fiat Yamaha prototypes, decorated with the same eye-catching design.

Both machines show off a spectacular paintjob inspired by the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Fiat 500 and celebrating the ‘pop-culture' explosion of the 1950s.

Close followers of MotoGP will recognise the Fiat 500 livery which was used by the Fiat Yamaha team earlier this year at Assen, with both eventual Dutch race winner Rossi and then team-mate Colin Edwards wowing the crowd on their brightly coloured bikes.

To watch Rossi's 2007 Assen triumph once more and witness the one-off livery again follow the video link on the left.
