Alex Barros completed a brilliant race to take fourth place for Pramac d'Antin, the satellite Ducati team's highest ever finish since their arrival in MotoGP. The Brazilian spoke to motogp.com after the Grand Prix of Turkey to explain how close he was to a podium place, and how he overcame the flu to earn his fantastic fourth.
"I think that it was a great result for us. I want to thank my team and Bridgestone, because they really made us competitive today. I think that maybe they should make the chequered flag appear at the end of this straight, then I might have overtaken Capirossi!" commented Barros. "I had picked up a bad fever in Brazil, so these last few days I wasn't feeling so great. I feel a little better now though," he concluded.
