Birthday boy Barbera renews with Team Toth

Hector Barbera has renewed his contract with the Team Toth Aprilia outfit for 2008, the team announced yesterday at the Spaniards home circuit.

Imre Toth Sr.s 250cc team threw a party for their young star yesterday evening in the Valencia paddock, celebrating Barberas 21st birthday and presenting him with gifts including an ornamental vase, a miniature model of his current bike and a picture of him on his first ever Grand Prix start. It was made public later that the team had secured Barberas services for 2008, along with a factory machine with which he will look to mount an assault on the quarter litre title.

Today I want to wish Hector a happy birthday, and I think that the best gift that we can give him has been the renovation of his contract for 2008, with a factory Aprilia RSA and the technical structure of Rossano Brazzi, said Imre Toth Sr., Team Owner.
