Chaz Davies replaces Hofmann for Laguna Seca race

In a shock move made as a result of Alex Hofmann´s Laguna Seca withdrawal, British rider Chaz Davies will stand in as the second Pramac d´Antin Ducati rider for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix.
In a shock move made as a result of Alex Hofmann´s Laguna Seca withdrawal, British rider Chaz Davies will stand in as the second Pramac d´Antin Ducati rider for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix.
Davies currently competes in the AMA Supersport championship - which is also running this weekend at Laguna - and took part in the first AMA practice session earlier on Friday.A regular competitor in the MotoGP 250cc category up until last year, the Welshman made his first appearance on a MotoGP bike this afternoon in the second free practice session.
