Reviewing his weekends endeavours after the MotoGP race at the Cardion ab Grand Prix Ceske republiky Honda LCR rider Carlos Checa assessed his top ten finish with a mixture of satisfaction and pragmatism.
Crossing the line tenth after qualifying twelfth was a decent performance from the 34 year old Catalan - his third top ten finish of the year, after coming sixth at Jerez and tenth in China earlier this season. At the conclusion of the Czech race Checa commented: Well this race was, as always, not easy. We fought for tenth position, which is never the best, but considering the situation of this year, where we are coming from, we must be satisfied with the work we did this weekend. Tenth position is not a fantastic result but its acceptable. The experience Honda rider remains in Brno for two days testing with the majority of his MotoGP counterparts, ahead of the next round of the World Championship at Misano on 2nd September. For Checas full interview follow the video link on the left.
