Circuit de Catalunya awarded prestigious title

On the first day of the Gran Premi Cinzano de Catalunya, the Circuit de Catalunya has officially been awarded the title of best Grand Prix of 2006 by IRTA (International Racing Teams Association).

On the first day of the Gran Premi Cinzano de Catalunya, the Circuit de Catalunya has officially been awarded the title of best Grand Prix of 2006 by IRTA (International Racing Teams Association).
It is the third occasion on which the circuit has been given the title, with the Gran Premio de Catalunya also acknowledged as the best in 1992 and 2001. Representing the Catalan venue, General Manager Ramón Praderas, President of the RACC Sebastià Salvadó, and the mayor of Montmeló, Manel Ramal received the prize from IRTA president, Hervé Poncharal.
