The three riders on the 125cc podium at Donington comment on an exciting single cylinder race at the Nickel & Dime British Grand Prix:
Mattia Pasini Polaris World (winner, 41'49.049)"It was a great race, we went onto the track at the end of the MotoGP race, and it was quite dry. At this point there's nothing to lose for me so I pushed at the maximum for the whole race. I can say that also we had a bit of luck, as with our wet set-up the bike wasn't exactly right. In the end, though, everything was just perfect. Tomoyoshi Koyama Red Bull KTM (2nd, 41'52.302)
"I wanted to follow Pasini but he was very strong so congratulations to him. My team did a very, very good job this weekend and my bike was very fast today, so I'm happy. Thanks to the sponsors and KTM!" Hector Faubel Bancaja Aspar (3rd, 41'06.388)
"It's a good day as I'm now the World Championship leader, but I'm still a bit disappointed as we decided to go with a wet set-up and was quite difficult to follow Mattia and Koyama. In the end being third in these conditions is not bad, and we look forward to Assen."
