Casey Stoners homecoming, combined with the great seasons of Chris Vermeulen and Anthony West, has seen attendance on the up at Phillip Island. New grandstands have been built to accommodate those keen to cheer on the local riders.
Since Thursday the track has welcomed a huge turnout of Australian fans braving the cold, some of whom are featured in the following video.
